The house is fairly small from the photo but elevated on a basement or garage plinth. If the base is brick, leave it as is. But whatever colour you chose, eliminate contrasts so if, say, a soft French grey, paint the walls, window and door joinery and roof flashing the same colour. A contract could be the new deck rail, but I would even consider painting it the same colour as the basement to link the 2 levels or just the same as the top. A bright glossy front door could break up the monotone.

Your brick is very dark, have you decided on your mortar colour? I would consider matching your cladding colour to your mortar colour if you are using a light coloured mortar. So much depends on the design and style of your home. I would probably avoid matching the brick colour as you will need a good contrast, so don't go with Monument or Domino! It is impossible to tell without knowing what your house looks like. Have you considered engaging a colour consultant as it is a big decision and there are over 4000 Dulux colours available. There are tonnes of colours to choose. Take a sample pot of Woodland Grey and a sample pot of Surfmist and mix up your own custom colour guaranteed to work with your chosen roof and trims.

I'd offer a variation -- like bigreader , I like the brick/roof/surfmist combo , but my worry is that with the 2 lighter colours ( roof and 2/3rds of the exterior ) , it will look pretty boring , so i'd go Monument windows and a cedar or similar garage door and entrance door -- you get the contrast of the windows , and the warmth of the wood , to add to it . I like colour , so I'd possibly go one step further , and do the gutters and that trim around the gable in a red , similar or slightly brighter than the predominate red in your brick . I'm not a fan of plainish uprights either , but conversely I suspect if you did your brick up to the same height as you have on the walls ( make a brick base for each column ) , then presumably paint in surfmist from there up , it may look more 1920's than 2020's , so maybe do those columns in a full height cedar stain too ( assuming you do the garage door in that ) or if the budget allows , maybe in a flat horizontal stone ( schist or similar ) , either matching the wall height , or full height ?
