My name is Nick from Ichor Constructions.
We are Currently working on a federation train station (Lindfield Railway Station) and i require some advice on the style of brick pointing which would have been used around the late 1880s to early 1890s (the station was built in 1890) - the following brick pointing styles have been given to us as a guide.
Flush joints.
Rules Joints.
Wigged Joints.
Bastard Tuck Joints.
Tuck Pointed Joints.
Struck Joints.
Weather-stuck and Cut Joints.
Can you please advise the style which would have been more predominant in this era?
