Need help for kitchen pendant lights - do I match dining pendant???
Comments (10)Never been a fan of matching lighting exactly, but instead suggest coordinating the pendants with your current fixture. You don't have to stick to ball-shaped either and can maybe go with a tubular shape. If you're hubby is stuck on chrome, maybe a chrome tube would work... if you want more glass, we also carry a line of pendant lighting and I'm sure you'll find something to go with it or atleast give you an idea....See MorePatio lighting. How to best Position a pendant light???
Comments (1)Pendant light choice would usually be for a specific purpose so if you will move things around I would have a rethink. It may be possible to have a pendant with a long lead & hooks for the cord that would allow you to move it within a reasonable distance of the connection point. Maybe some general lighting might work better e.g. or two or three directional spotlights along edges or the ridge line & on dimmers if possible. Subtle strip lighting at the top of the grey wall & the addition of a feature decorative wall hanging & potted plants would look nice too....See MoreIdeas for pendant lights for kitchen
Comments (23)Hi there, I agree with a lot of the suggestions above. Consider the textures, colours and finishes of your furnishings and artwork and think of the pendants as an opportunity to reiterate some of these. So for instance, if you have some black metal in the coffee table legs, you may bring in some of that in the kitchen pendants and look for say glass pendants with black fixtures. Coloured pendants are fun but they can date a lot quicker - bring in colour in the room through artwork, cushions and accessories....See MorePendant lighting?
