What would YOU like to change on HOUZZ?
Comments (15)I often think it would be better for comments to be ordered newest to oldest, rather than having to go the end to see newest comment. I always read from the bottom (beats eyes in the back of your head!) up until I get to the last comment from yesterday. By the way @Luke Buckle still waiting to know where that pool is????...See MoreWould you combine your kitchen and dining area's?
Comments (15)I like it turned that way & yes I can see you like colour too! Nice! I'm confused about about the old dining room space, is it behind the shelves still? Is this using your 8 seater which I thought you wanted to be separate? This way though is a very practical use of space especially if you have room to move it to the right when required. You may want to consider whether the microwave is better in the kitchen triangle either under the island bench (bending down to use) or beside fridge above bench. Another way is to build up one end of the island to house it there just for the safe handling of hot dishes near to a serving bench....See MoreWhat did you see first in this kitchen?
Comments (10)i noticed the chairs for the dark colour, but also that7 they can actually be used at the island bench as there is enough space to sit properly unlike a lot of kitchens that have no where to put your legs at the bench...See MoreHow old were you when you bought your first home?
Comments (46)I was 23 years old and our first home (1982) was $42,000 but interest rates were 21%!!! It was in Otorohanga NZ and mortgages were tough to get. Best decision ever though. We had second hand everything, even using an old beer crate as coffee tables and book shelves lol. Over the years we have owned only 3 homes though, and if we were to start again we have learned to not over capitalise on homes we have bought instead upgrade sooner. Finally we are ebarking on our first new home build ... bettter late than never though definately!...See MoreMelanie Hedi
