I'm keeping the window white but adjusting the splash back so the window frame on the left can go all the way down to the vanity. Was planning to keep it white with a white sheer curtain, thought it would be a nice contrast. Yes I'm painting myself. Would have been easier to do between demolishing and putting in new vanity but can't decide yet so I'll wait and then maybe just start with the middle feature wall painted and see if more is needed.

Thanks for all those comments. It would be nice to replace everything but it was done in stages and some bits cost a bit. Taking shape piecemeal with out a whole perspective resulted in the dilemma now. I would hate to lose the stone bench top and the tiles laid recently to match it. The rest is negotiable so I really aim to tie it together. No one is tending to sit in the kitchen they rather sit in the living room. And yes I need better shelf space and spot for microwave and I did hope to get the fridge next to the door beside the wall return but I would need a thinner fridge. I had hoped to remove that door altogether and use the bi fold doors in the living room as an exit but they may not be ideal for that. So my main aim was to tie together the bench top and floor with colour and maybe some modifications to the upper cabinets?? The back door is actually and off white.

Sadly as tiles are considered a fashion item by the manufacturers you would be very lucky to source the same tile so long after it was made, and been in fashion. Having the luck to source that tile as new-old stock would be the same sort of luck you need to win Tattslotto. Most mainstream tile suppliers will not carry stock like that as it is not currently fashionable. I can point you in the direction of a niche Melbourne supplier who I regularly use for clients who are renovating their 1960s and 1970s home and who want to use tiles that are appropriate for their original homes.
