Beautiful bath. If you love the taps and shower head then go for it. Again, it is your house and you have to look at them everyday so pick something you love and don't worry about anyone else :)

Looks like I'll be going with the flick tap, offset at 2pm to the right of the round vessel basin, mounted in the centre of the top of the vanity (not semi-recessed). Any thoughts on whether the vessel basin should be bang in the middle, or offset to the left slightly to balance the tap being on the right?

I have just measured mine. And the spout is 50mm above the top of vessel. Your vessel is 150mm deep, so the spout is 208mm above the bottom of vessel. This is plenty of room for fall of the water. I would recommend a swivel basin mixer, which allows the spout to be swivelled out of the way. This is an advantage when washing your face. No bumping the spout with your eyes closed.

the top of a vanity could be 780 (approx desk or table top height is around 750) or as high as 900 which is average kitchen cabinet height but is it for tall people, short people or average sized people and, as the space under the vanity is not tall enough for anything but dust and lost pills why not make sure the tops of the sinks is no higher than 900 for comfortable height for most people and that would make the floor space 220, the counter top 760 and the top of the basins 900?
