Red glass windows
Comments (2)As a window tinter I could suggest installing a coloured window film from the deco range with choices that range from opaque to total block out . With so many colours to choose from that you may be able to either change the overall colour by installing a translucent type of a different colour that will change the overall resultant colour or use a total block out film . ( you will need to check to see if the glass is flat an smooth for this though) If it's only a small job then you can try an install these films your self rather than changing the glass . A local glazier may have some glass off cuts that you may get free or cheap to reglaze yourself . (PROTEK window tinting & blinds )...See MoreWhat colour? It's freaking me out!
Comments (33)Hi everyone, well the good news is my house is having the pictures taken tomorrow morning ahead of the first home open. Thank you all for the advice offered and shared. In the end I had to keep to a low budget as its unlikely I'll get it back in the sale price. What I want to do it MOVE it quickly, as the market is poor and we are heading toward Christmas. The first 30 days are VIP. So I did the following; -exterior eaves, guttering paint - whole house interior wall paint (grand piano quarter) and one ceiling - carpet throughout from Harvey Norman - verticals, as other spotlight/ikea options did not fit. I needed to have these made. - new lightfittings - remove exterior rotary clothes line, put an Aldi one that comes from one wall. - cleaning of pavers with high pressure cleaner (my new found friend) - cleaning of kitchen tiles and grout with toothbrush, gumption and patience (gumption is also my new friend) - new shower screen So there we have it! Thanks again for your help and colour suggestions, and multiple suggestions to CLEAN. This CLEAN priority cannot be understated. I considered staging the home however I believe as it is modest and first home buyer home and a new migrant market, it wasn't worth the spend. Fingers crossed!...See Morewhich kitchen colour scheme to match cream coloured aluminium windows?
Comments (6)Hi there, I would be thinking to go for white cabinets and walls, with white appliances that you plan on Keeping or can change to stainless, your choice of benchtop. as this picture shows the timber door frames etc will then fit, White cream and timber should blend in with the floor tiles, maybe even the blinds will look ok, photos help...See Morecurtains or blinds .... ideas needed
Comments (17)Please don't install verticals. You have such a beautiful home, I strongly believe drapes will look amazing. With curtains you want to install them as high as possible, I would install on the same level as your kitchen cabinetry, so about 10cm below the ceiling cornice. Colour, I recommend two shades darker or lighter to give the room dimension. I feel a classic look will last you a lifetime so a plain coloured drape, and if I were you I would add a border in another neutral colour to further add interest. I will show you a photo of a drape I did for a client and I think this style would suit you. She chose Madison Linen fabric with a dark grey border....See Moredohraime
