Comments (46)@mlk01, You are right about the message button, I have it on my profile but no one else seems to so that's odd! If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Just not sure how long the edit feature lasts....See MoreOpinions on laminate for floating bathroom vanities please!
Comments (10)Difficult- the tiles and floor match beautifully it's just the laminate. Don't think brown works as grey tile has blue undertone Have you tried a navy against the tiles? I have navy laminate in one bathroom with osprey ceasarstone benchtop and warm grey tiles and looks great Thing is though laminate mist has to go with vanity top and splashback so if marble feature only above bath then could use White as clashes with marble but nice with grey tile and floor So hard nearly there...See MoreHelp please with bathroom design!
Comments (4)I'd suggest replacing your swing door with a sliding door recessed into the wall sliding to right. We did that with our tiny bathroom and it opens up all the wall and space restricted by the door for a vanity next to loo with niche recessed mirror fronted storage above the vanity. Go wall hung to keep floor clear for sense of space....See MoreHelp with bathroom door please
Comments (27)our cavity sliders don't have a track on the floor although the wall needs to be reinforced if you want to mount a towel rail on a wall with a cavity slider inside.. in 35 years we had to replace the fittings on one door (out of five cavity sliders) but you need to make sure that the fittings are good quality but the door will probably be open most of the time and a simple floor mounted door stop installed close to the wall will stop the door hitting anything without being a trip hazzard...See MoreBeach Bathrooms
