If no luck doing it this way try order the BM paint card samples then take into any store that has a spectrophotometer. They can do a read on the sample to work out a formula.

Thanks Anne and I will look at pale grey given the maintenance considerations. I have already paid for a colour consultant who was great but the Reckless grey she suggested for the house render and basalt gutters/fascia and front wall were too grey when we had the render samples put on and while it had a modern look, it was not giving the beach/coastal feel. I will head back into our inspirations paint store this morning to see if I can find the warm grey colours that have the most similar colour make up to Dune, and go from there. Anne you don't happen to know the dulux colour most close in composition to Colorbond Dune so I know where to start? Thanks again and I would love to hear from anyone who has got a dune roof and hear if they tried light coloured gutters and what render colours they have used on their walls.

I work as a colourist and the easiest method for a upmarket look is to choose an exact colour to match one of the colours in the tile. I would take the tile to a paint shop and get the colourist it match exactly one of the greys in the tile. Make the depth of the colour a light version. All white walls are on the way out. Lappatto tiles usually have some texture as they are semi polished. This is the latest look in tiles as they give a shine without the maintenance of polished porcelain which had been in. They are usually less slippery than satin or polished tiles depending on the brand.

Thank you @sophiebalmoral and @Nicole A, very helpful and good to know I'm not going crazy. It has been perhaps one of the most frustrating experiences of renovating. I heard an interior designer say...'oh so you are going to paint your house white, welcome to white hell' lol. @Nicole A, I'll take a look at Ghosting, have never heard of that colour. Good to know you used it right next to SMQ. I think I will need to take the plunge and repaint these rooms that throw the green the most. Thank you so much for your input. xx
