What would you use this amazing space for?
Comments (23)Art studio/ music room/library....anything creative...sewing, reading...writing...It is a beautiful serene space where one could spend many a quiet and memorable time. I can just see my cat making a beeline for what he would perceive is open space only to find himself concertinered up against the glass! If I owned this room I would have to have a frosted border about 30cm high all along the bottom of the glass, Whover owns this place is pretty fortunate and I hope they count their blessings....See MoreDo you think you can have too much wood?
Comments (10)having lived in a home with beautiful Tasmanian Oak ceilings, feature walls and cabinets for many years i can appreciate the gorgeous look of timber BUT over the years the timber coatings darken and eventually it became dark oppressive and, rather than painting them to achieve a fresh new Hamptons look we couldn't do it and sold the house instead!! Our new home will have some timber but much more restrained and in smaller areas...See MorePOLL: Have your pets influenced your home improvement 'style?'
Comments (6)We have two cats that are indoor pets. Sadly the male took a jaunt outside and got a few sctratches and tears from a large neighbour cat. He began territorial peeing on any cushion, stray coat, laundry basket, no matter it was on top of a piano or speaker or even a bed. Our piano varnish ruined, so very much washing.. (Thank God for Nature's Miracle). Now we have to keep him incarcerated in the laundry area which has an enclosed porch and cat tree and so forth. He comes in for supervised visits and we take him outside every other day to run and play. When we move we will be planning an area specifically for him. It's so sad as we never would treat him like this if he could break the habit, but we've tried everything and he's hooked like an addict. He isn't as happy as he used to be....See MoreHave you ever used your dishwasher for storage?
Comments (10)Personally I don't store our clothes to be washed in a few days, and our dishes are just as important to our family health, so dishes get washed and or at least rinsed, is what you get up front.. Guests are welcome to use the dishwashe,r we can easily connect it, so far no problems for them either. I wash, sometimes they dry their choice.Everyone is different I love that....See More- 9 years ago
