I miss mine! I had one over the bed when I lived in Wales best thing ever, nice and safe in bathrooms as well so depends where they are but I say keep them if you can re-cording is easy enough and places like fragments sell replacement "plastic bits" if you need to refresh.

Hi Aimee We've been using the Excel life as standard for some time now. They look great, work well and have a wide range. They are also quite a slim design. When looking at the choice, be careful as not all designs can do the complete range of options eg a 6 gang (6 switches), combi powerpoint/oven isolators. It depends on what you need throughout as the switch number may require multiple sets in one spot. Cheers

If you are happy with the walls as they are , its a huge cost and effort to just hide some power points . To a small degree , it will also depend what you want to run . Really power hungry appliances ( 2000 watt heaters etc ) may need new wiring , rather than just hooking into the existing wiring . But like bigreader , I'd look at coduit , extension leads ( if lower power use ) and even multi-boxes -- I have used individually switched brushed stainless 4 way ones ( about $80 instead of $10 beige unswitched ones ) and even mounted them to the wall -- they look quite classy and purposeful . And if all else fails , using furniture to hide leads is a good idea .

Can the orientation of casement windows be switched relatively easily ie. From left opening to right? And singles turned into pairs relatively easily? I'm trying to source second hand replacements for our double opening windows and the best options I have found are single or triple opening.
