Thanks Fort Interiors. I checked out the Smartstone website and found my dream kitchen! I just received the quote from my local joinery works for my proposed kitchen island, bench and splashback in 'statuario venato' including under mount sink cut out, 2 power point cut outs and waterfall ends -just under $13000!! Unfortunately it seems I will be needing to reign in my naive champagne taste ideas :(

I like that the flooring now extends up the wall behind the bath which elongates the view, without the need for physically extending a small room. This is a clever technique often forgotten. Also the grain of the marble running the length of the room helps to elongate. Marble can be cold, so I hope that underfloor heating has been included. I worry that the floor might be slippery when wet but overall, I like the changes that have been made. A great improvement.
