If you do this first step, a local handyman in your paper would be capable of UN/ installing it for you, the benchtop manufacturer will come to you, measure and quote off plan, and install for you. The only things is organizing an electrician and or plumber to disconnect during your removal, and then re fitting after it's done. The same trades people will do this as it's common practice. Send me your list of cabinets and room layout, I can make use of them for you, then it's a matter of contacting a handyman to reinstall for you. Before replacing your curtains as this can be quite expensive for such a large window, if they are in good condition, add a band of extra fabric to the bottom in what ever suits you, your existing curtain track can then be moved up to the ceiling for good looking full length curtains without the large round eyelets, could save you a lot of money, I would look at replacing/removing the sheers cheers

Hi Sarah It’s really hard to compare as they don’t give you a price per metre. Just quote the job each time. The stone we used, Spirals in Silk finish is one of the very dearest Aurea do so it was considerably dearer than other more common brands. It has just been installed and I don’t regret the cost for a second. I absolutely love it. What swung us was the fact it was a jumbo slab so no join on our island, the silk finish (feels amazing!!) and the colour/pattern. We felt it was nicer than any other engineered stone. Good luck, get as many quotes from different stonemasons as you can. There was significant differences in prices between the companies we were getting quotes from.
