Replacing Kitchen Appliances

We are renovating our kitchen and I'm wondering if we should replace the appliances too? Dishwasher, Oven and Stovetop.
Our existing ones are about 5 years old, work well and look OK but will they look out of place in a brand new kitchen? Will i regret not having everything brand new?
Love to hear what others have done.
Pic attached is from Ikea & we will be purchasing these cupboards, benchtop & splashback

I would replace the oven & cooktop keep the dishwasher till it die's.

After some thought, i agree
Our dishwasher works fine but would be nice to replace the two
Now to start that investigation process :)

Just remember that good quality tapware is EXPENSIVE and so is the plumber to change out the tap so go for the best you can afford - tapware will either make or break the look you're going for in terms of big ticket items. But go for what you want - infact take a sample of your benchtop and put it next to the tap and a stainless steel appliance in the Ikea showroom and have a look to decide for yourself - it all depends on personal taste.

I have AEG electric oven and gas cooktop. They are nearing four years old and no hiccups yet. A great brand with good customer service which I had to get for minor gas adjustment. I live remote and was surprised with quick response.

can't offer an opinion about an Aga but when deciding on my own new appliances i chose a cooktop with timer that turns itself off when i wander away and an oven built in at eye level to avoid bending down and couldn't decide how any other extras would improve my cooking experience... after 18 months i still haven't investigated all the tricks offered by my new appliances but am very happy with my choice

Sub Zero products are beautifully designed and are a high performance range, as you would expect from a luxury brand, which is reflected in the price - I think for that model it is around $20k, with some in their range double that. If that is in your budget, I would suggest hiring professional advice given the level of investment in this and the other kitchen appliances you intend to purchase.

All I can suggest is to make sure that whatever apertures you build for the dishwasher fit any future dishwasher you might want. We moved into our new house (stove, range top and dishwasher all ordered ahead of time so everything fitted) but the year old washing machine that we brought with us, and the new wine fridge we indulged ourselves with, didn't. It took the builder's carpenter a bit of time and angst to get everything to fit.

Ultimately it depends on the budget set out for the kitchen renovation - you will find that most people will have the appliances replaced when a kitchen is updated to maintain the look - especially if they are built in units - not freestanding, as this can be difficult when it comes to replacement time. We always recommend that all of our clients get as many quotes as they want and choose appliances based on their future needs and requirements too.
