If you do this first step, a local handyman in your paper would be capable of UN/ installing it for you, the benchtop manufacturer will come to you, measure and quote off plan, and install for you. The only things is organizing an electrician and or plumber to disconnect during your removal, and then re fitting after it's done. The same trades people will do this as it's common practice. Send me your list of cabinets and room layout, I can make use of them for you, then it's a matter of contacting a handyman to reinstall for you. Hey Amba, There is no reason why you explicitly can't use a 90cm rangehood over a 110cm freestanding oven as long as the rangehood has a good extraction rate. Having a boost mode could also help when you do chose to cook something with excess steam or fragrance because it will work even harder to extract it. However, you aren't guaranteed to suck up absolutely everything because of the smaller size. This could have a negative effect on the paintwork around your oven (but it is hard to say as I do not know your cooking frequency or the types of meals you prefer). That being said, in terms of aesthetics I think investing in a larger rangehood is a good idea. If this is something that is important to you, I recommend shopping around. A few appliance stores are having warehouse sales and clearance sales at this time of year, so it'd be a good time to buy. I hope this helps!

Hello 61karwin, I do not have a range hood just an exhaust fan. I do not do much in the way of frying, I am however rather good at 'carbon' but find with a good breeze thru from open windows that it is no problem. The fan does need cleaning every now and then but I get a tall person to assist: a young one who is happy to get onto the bench! I do not see a problem unless your home is not well vented and you like cooking hot chips! Cheers Margot
