Hi it's available from Peacocks + Paisleys or I Love Linen in Australia. It's a Kantha Quilt.

I recently tries this but for a set of queen size bed sheets. (They were a gift but they were certainly not my choice of colour - pink!) SO i bought two packets of colour dye from Coles and put them through the wash like the instructions said.. it was all very simple and I didnt expect it to work but it did! My greatest fear was that they would immediately fade and the colour would run but 4 washes in and they are still a bold blue colour. I think this should work just as well for quilt overs and possibly better for linen than cotton? Good luck!

Quilt/duvet size for King beds
Q

It depends on the thickness of your mattress. I have a fairly standard height king mattress, on a ensemble base. I bought a standard AU king duvet and it shows a lot of mattress. Then bought a West Elm US king duvet and it's much larger. It covers the mattress, tucking in would be possible but your not able to tuck in a lot of fabric. I love the larger West Elm duvet, but they weren't selling well as the sizes were different from our standard, so they now only do smaller AU sizes. And the US West Elm site won't sell to AU... So I think if you want a generous duvet or quilt to tuck in. You may need to go custom made.

Wall colour and quilt

As a former art restorer and now retired I am proficient at mixing colours, I agree with the two above me taking the pillow case is a good idea and the other thing is to do is make sure that the grey has a blue touch as some have a green touch or a brown touch etc so it is possible to get the wrong mauve grey which has a red/brown base to the black and white to achieve the mauve/grey, overall the paint store have people who will help you pick the right colour as often a colour on a small sample looks a lot different when applied to a whole wall. Good luck

Hi Jeannie, that quilt has so much texture , it’s gorgeous. I love a light cream with white as in the Adairs pic. Those throws In pics are from Urban Outfitters and Etsy but I think that one from Adairs is beautiful , you can add any other colour you love but you can’t go wrong with that quilt.. gorgeous.
