Hi Jess Suazo - What a wonderful opportunity to do a fantastic bathroom renovation, like all small rooms they do require some careful detailing. I thought the following might help a bit: 1. If you move the door as shown on the included plan sketch (please not that I had to guess the dimensions) you will notice that you have quite a bit of space. 2. The shower (bath drain) and the toilet plumbing are kept in the similar position thus save of plumbing costs. 3. By using a glass screen, possibly running full height, and no glass door for the shower you save on shower door costs. (you might like to provide a second strip drain at the shower entry if splashing of water is of concern) 4. You can run a decent towel rail behind the door. 5. If you want extra space you can open the door outward, if you are not concerned by the closeness of the other doors. 6. You have somewhere to hang the toilet paper roll on the side cabinet, and could run a good size mirror at the back of your basin. Like all small areas there is a lot of detailing required, also you would have to take some accurate measurements of the space before further detailing and choosing of fitting and fixtures. The choice of tiles and lighting would be a priority., natural lighting (maybe a skylight ) would help a lot in the ambience of the space. If you do a good set of working drawings, and then choose your builder well I think you may have a very satisfactory result. If you click on my profile for example, you will see on the top line right beside the profile picture: Your house, Ideasbook, Bookmarks, Activities, Messages. In fact I remember that when anyone typed a reply like I'm doing now, you used to be able to click a "private" button, which meant only the person you were typing to saw your comment. Perhaps Houzz can answer these anomalies?? I'm not on Facebook or Twitter, never got into it and have no reason to do so anytime soon ha-ha As for talking privately to someone, you could post your email address here as could oklouise and delete it whilst you are still able to edit, as I've done once in the past. Hi there Not at all, I liked that your sister had a good idea, but can see where you are coming from. Bunnings has had a fairly recent addition to their bathroom vanities, lovely wall hung with drawer and gorgeous slim benchtop. You mentioned that there was a cupboard behind the opened bathroom door, could that be updated for linen storage. In this current layout, the shower is run towards the door with the shower and taps on the outside wall, this helps to direct water away from your large sash window. The shower would be narrow across and longer on the left wall. The whole bathroom floor tiled the same and where I have a short wall that could be a glass screen? I have added a 400 wide full height linen cabinet but if you were to use the other cabinet for bathroom storage you could certainly have a longer vanity with either one or two drawers. This with the mirrored shaving cabinets should give you lots of extra space cheers

by "other options" i mean that you should consider all other options for locations of fixtures..there is already plumbing along each wall so swapping the location of shower and bath or vanity isn't as challenging as if there were no original plumbing in that area and if you plan to replace the fixtures and tiles rearranging the fixtures will only be a small percentage of the budget and it's a shame to limit the final result without at least considering other options..and although there is enough space to have the vanity hard up against the wall my suggestion is to have the vanity away from the wall to make it easier to clean and also because the small nook is an ideal space for hanging a hair dryer and with the luxury of so much space it will be easier to install a vanity away from the wall
