Comments (12)I've just been looking at your colours, I think the Dulux Dieskau would work the best with the other colours you have to work with, choosing colours is such a personal thing and I know it can be really hard to choose and hope you make the correct choice. Oskuee is right, a paint job can look terrible half way through so you need to make sure you finish to get the proper look of colour. But the biggest thing to remember is it's only paint and it's the cheapest thing to change so if your not happy with the colour you choose you can always try something else. Comments (9)I would say it is more beige than grey. It has been quite some time since I have looked at a sample not online though. I like to look at the dulux colour atlas to see where the 'white/neutral' sits in relation to stronger colours. For example the white duck/oyster linen suggested sit in the green toned region. I like white duck for our home as we have woodland grey colourbond and I feel it is a charcoal with a green under tone. Based on your description of what you are after beige Royal sounds like a good choice. Fingers crossed sample pot helps you finalise selection against your charcoal roof colour and lighting....See Moreexterior paint colour - dulux
Comments (20)As I suspected it is not yellow, but already an earthy colour. The windows frames, roof trims, front door and frames would all look good in one of the sample colours given. They all definitely need maintenance and painting. Adding a stained timber porch deck and squared off timber support posts. The back balcony balustrade could be either painted or replaced with a stained timber balustrade. I would ask a painter as to their thoughts as to whether the render needs painting again, or is it in good condition. But if you have the budget to paint the whole house, then go for it....See MoreDulux warm exterior colours for farmhouse
Comments (10)Its going to look awfully white IMO , even with the slight olive tones of the paint you have selected . If you look at the pic you captioned 'brick colour' , you see they have a darker roof to break the zones , and the olivey green tones of the window surrounds and crosses . Substitute your light grey roof , and essentially very light grey windows , over that picture , and it's not all that inspiring IMO . The brick isn't quite right as it is , and I realise it was chosen to be painted over , and I assume you aren't wanting to paint the roof yet , so all I'd suggest is going with the 'brick colour' as chosen , and do all the veranda columns and rails in either a black/charcoal , or maybe a similar mid-greeny olive tone to the 'brick' inspo pic , and also the base boards in that off-green ( it would work with either green or charcoal IMO ) ....See More- 9 years ago
