Hi Renovators - has anyone used or heard anything "thin italian porcelain tiles" for kitchen (& bathroom) benchtops? They are very thin - about 6-12mm usually - and supposed to be the next best thing for benchtops.. Tough, hygienic, very pretty and reasonably priced (about $300/SQM or $700 for a large slab - 3000 by 1500 by 12), plus the cutting / installation.

I saw some in a specialist tile shop last week, but there stock does not get in for 2 months so I am currently looking around other suppliers .. (See http://www.cdkstone.com.au/luxury-surfaces/surfaces-neolith/Manx And http://www.dekton.com.au/colours/keon/).

Just wondering if anyone has used and has any feedback? They look and feel gorgeous..
