Comments (5)That is a whole lot of question, there, and difficult to comment on the unseen furn. pieces, but a couple thoughts to start the ball rolling: Yes, you can combine patterns.Take your major colors (navy, white , red/orange) and look for patterns of different sizes and percentages:70% navy in a toile,20%navy in a stripe, etc. Gather your softgood selections together before selecting paint shades, for better accuracy in wall color. Carry colors into the kitchen by painting your chairs, and through softgood display ( tablecloth, towels, apron) as well as everyday work items routinely left out. Keep trim colour the same thoughout the space. You might slipcover the chairs at the ends of the table in a different fabric, but rather than a pattern, consider a plain fabric w accents like a monogram or stamped design to transition from the remaining patterned chairs to the couch slipcover. In general, I'd shy from painting large pieces black in a small space, but without knowing your other selections, can not make specific suggestions.( I wonder if navy might look well, when all is put together? Perhaps your fabric choices will be so sharp that a neutral off-white is begged for...) Continue to post as you make decisions, and more folks will join in. Comments (5)Hi guys, wow you have a lovely home and a blank canvas...what about a 'breeze way' affair? That is if you do not want it enclosed. This can be done with timber or steel, slat style or like a pergola structure that can be protected from the rain and sun by deciduous plants ! Other wise, enclose a long walk wYmade of glass and timber...letting in light and cooling breezes. Ideas all around ...have fun....See MoreWall decoration ideas
Comments (23)Hi Chris, Lovely house! Art is always a such a personal choice but large scale artworks are our speciality and we agree that's what your space needs - something with impact. I'm attaching a link to the client review of a project we did in a similar setting which worked really well. http://www.houzz.com.au/viewReview/297646/signarture-review That piece was a 800H x 2400L perspex artwork but we create all our artworks bespoke, in whatever dimensions / colour / medium works best for your space. You'll find triptych versions of this design in our online gallery which would also work well - and can cover an even greater span. This link will illustrate the options. http://www.signarture.com.au/collections/treescape-perspex-artworks/products/tree-perspex-art-burrawang-magenta-triptych We have many other designs, so feel free to browse our collections, and if you see something you love, don't hesitate to reach out....See MoreNeed ideas for decorating a large wood panel wall!
Comments (5)before seeing the rest of your room, lighting all needs changing and the curtain and pelmet look like they need updating by adding a timber pelmet to match the timber wall but take it up to the ceiling, a couple of photos cheers...See MoreAnt gent
