External wall colour to match Woodland Grey gutters/fascia
Comments (13)@jactheshe, it would be very hard to imagine. Even digital photos of the colours together can look so different. And depending on how your house is situated & how the light plays on it, that changes things again. I was looking at a picture online of a house using woodland grey with colorbond dune. The dune colour looked completely different to the colour card on the charts. If you have some large lightweight boards around, I suggest painting them out with colours you're considering. Or getting a large sheet of foam core from office supplies or sign companies and using that. It would be light enough to attach temporarily on the facade & give a better idea of which colour works. That way the angle how the light hits the colour is accurate....See MoreWhat colour roof & gutters ??
Comments (17)Beautiful view Jane, gosh you're on the side of a mountain no? Yes if left natural the cedar will weather to grey but to me that looks weathered & dry & possibly not in keeping with your house style. I still like the red door & think the cedar weatherboards look to be in good condition. I would start by painting the gutter & fascia in the graphite, then the pergola as well & lose the cinder if that is the light colour. Funny thing, I live in a pole home too but without your amazing views!...See MoreHelp!! Box gutter + extension question, re-posted
Comments (7)" .....there has to be a better design " - that's why I'd love some input here! The 800mm gap under the box gutter will hold storage, the toilet, the 'european laundry' and the wardrobe for Bedroom 3, so certainly not wasted space. It will address all the storage needs, and will enable the garden-facing side to be quite open. No - pergola timbers are not preexisting - extending new ones from the new roof will be the primary shading device, and can have anything added to them to shade them. The box gutter enables the extension roof to be pitched upwards towards the west, creating a higher ceiling, enabling some kind of opening above the bifolds, to enable hot air to be expelled. Not that my own finances are the business of this discussion, but if I can get to lockup stage with my own cash, I can apply for a bank loan for the fitout. I'm not sure of your own experience OKL, but preliminary quotes for lockup stage were around the ballpark I'd mentioned earlier. I'll upload an updated floorplan soon :-)...See MoreRoof / gutter / fascia colour
Comments (12)No to terracotta, that would be closer to your gutter guard that doesn’t work with your bricks and would be the first thing I’d address. You could square up the bricks around the garage doors and modernise the front door screen. The roller doors could be more modern too, although they look fine and what they are....See MoreTribbletrouble44152k7 Trek
