Marble, marble everywhere

The use of marble in the kitchen, for bench-tops & backsplashes, took off around 2013 and thus far marbles' allure doesn't seem to be fading. What do you think? Has marble become so mainstream, the "go to" surface of choice, that it's losing its appeal? Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

No, marble is timeless & classic - it will always be my 1st choice
Would never use marble, it's too high maintenance
Would like to use marble but it's too expensive
Love it, want it, got to have it
Would prefer to use one of the composite "look a like" products as they don't mark, etch or require the maintenance that marble does
Loathe it, it's everywhere - I'm over it
Give me a white kitchen, with a marble benchtop
