love the floors not too keen on the bricks or drop down ceilings makes it look a bit heavy ..not light and airy like it should

Hi Ace - long time, no hear. I like the ceiling and also the floor, but I know how hard those floors are on the feet (I lived in a few houses with floors just like that - ugh. ) But, overall, I think the look is terrific.

I like the wooden textured roof for separating the kitchen from the living area. Great image in terms of lighting, height and angle!

I don't love any one element (though I quite like those brick walls), but more how it has all been put together! Very nicely done!

Attracted to or like? I am attracted to the polished concrete however I do not like it. I am attracted to a big strapping hulk of a sweaty male in tight jeans with a big.......however I may not LIKE him.

wood, brick, concrete, those couches, like them all, but the ceiling lighting and gloss-like finishes aren't my taste

couches, angled island, powerpoint on island are good bt having dining table so far away frm kitchen not practical...I can imagine a tiff everytime the table is to be laid...who is going to ferry all the food and cutlery up and down?

Timber battens on ceiling is a very current and contemporary look. Also easy to add an LED strip between battens for a great lighting effect.

I love the couches and am drawn to the pop of colour in the orange splash back. Orange is not everyone's cup of tea but I've always found it to be a happy colour and it really gives life to this otherwise neutral room.
