Living/dining dilemma for small home.
Comments (4)Not sure if you can make you current table height adjustable and what's involved with making the banquette wide enough for lounging but here are some pictures. Comments (9)I do not see an issue at all with seeing the dining when entering, I suppose it depends how you live, and whether you will always be sitting at the dining room table. It uses the entire space, it is not cramped into the corner. It is the best layout from the two offered. My suggestion, if it is such an issue, to install a small vertical screen to stop the direct sight lines to dining table. Comments (19)I think by moving the unused fireplace , you could make this a tv area or dining area, then have a couch and two chairs, coffee table around the fireplace, it just needs a little thought on placement but it could look a really warm and inviting room.
