Your kitchen is a good size but not huge so I would go with gloss white to match in with your lovely fridge. All white appliances. Light coloured bench top in the grey range. Backsplash, I'd go to tile expo, choose something you love and add some colour behind the stove, the rest of the splashbacks behind the sink etc in white subway tiles. Dark floors as you have chosen, all the walls in the house Dulux Whisper White. This is a great colour to go with everything, i use it all the time in my designs.

Hi Johan Not sure if it is possible with the construction of the unit, but you could possibly remove the upright cupboards (or make up new ones) and place them further out on the edges. This would visually make the unit a lot bigger and fill the space in a bit better proportion. (If you have to make up new ones you could make them deeper for more storage) you could then make up a simple panel at a cabinetmaker for the infill between in the same colour, which would allow the mounting of a large tv on it without to much drama. the bulkhead over would need to be extended also like this (quick and dirty) pic below... I would vote for the top example here. Itr gives an earthy tone to the room and yet is still bright and wont show every piece of dust or food.
