You have a lot of great features included that aren't replicated in modern houses due to costs. The semi circular stairs, thats wow right there! ^^petapea is spot on by the way! I'm currently working on plans for a house that was rendered in 2006. It has the wow factor; WOW that's bland as bat sh!t.... We're adding things like a bay window, new porch in painted timber and some masonry back to make it look good again. Then the new landscaping will really lift it! You could render garage facade and paint it, pressure clean the rest and do those maintenance jobs like cracked flooring, leaking gutters etc. The stairs are too narrow to be any use so widen them up to 1000-1200 wide. I'd spend more on landscaping (which includes fences/letter box/etc).

Hi Kristy as your dining table is going to be not only in close proximity to the kitchen but running parallel to the island I would decide whether you want pendant lights over the island or a pendant(s) over the dining table. One area or the other needs to be the feature in terms of your lighting. If you have both then each loses its impact. Downlights with surrounds that are as close in colour to the ceiling colour as possible so they 'disappear' are ideal for general lighting. Put them on dimmer switches. LED strip lighting along the kickboard of the bookcase or the kitchen island could be gorgeous and create ambience. Wall lights that simply wash the wall with light or throw patterns on the wall are lovely and as already mentioned, table and floor lamps can be a major decorative feature in any space. I would definitely remove the animal on the floor and cushions. And the Italian pedestal and floral display. Try the deer print on the black wall in the lounge area. Try it on the right hand side of wall at eye level, after you take the pedestal away. Put your tall table decoration onto the white buffet, where the deer was. Can you remove the shiny light fittings that are in the dining room space. They seem not to work. Install led down lights. As the existing lights seem not to be where you have your table. This is my opinion. Everyone's tastes are different.
