Cutest house you've seen on Houzz?
Comments (9)Funny, I have hundreds of photos saved but none fall in the realm of "cute!" I guess I am not a cute type person. This is the closest I could find lol. [houzz=]...See MoreShould walls be seen and not heard?
Comments (4)I prefer a cohesive interior with individual interior schemes for zones in a space. So I prefer not to feature wall, rather I could coordinate an entire interior with individual spaces being different shades or colours but still connect through undertones etc. I think results are far better when you respond to a rooms purpose and define it through choices, even if that means using different colours. I don't think this is as successful when limiting colour to a single wall in a space with four walls, because the wall is now the focus, and not the function. I do think there is a place for them, when they are part of a bigger picture, like a frame Matt, they can be the backdrop you build a three dimensioned scheme upon, with linens, art etc, but generally, the interpretation of feature wall is to have them stand out, steal attention, and that is the last thing I'd do with colour. It is always the intention of a designer to unify a space with the building! If it was a breeze block cement cinder block wall or a timber planked wall, then yes, feature the material against the white plaster finish, but this showcases and invites your tactile response, it reveals the structure rather than a bold, pointless colour pop. Technically a feature wall, but done so in revealing way rather than an applied way....See MoreWhat would YOU like to change on HOUZZ?
Comments (15)I often think it would be better for comments to be ordered newest to oldest, rather than having to go the end to see newest comment. I always read from the bottom (beats eyes in the back of your head!) up until I get to the last comment from yesterday. By the way @Luke Buckle still waiting to know where that pool is????...See MoreFirst thing you noticed about this photo?
