Price depends on quality. Make sure you get the vitrified ones where the colour is all the way through. This way if they chip it will be the same colour in the chip. Some tiles are made using slightly different look to each tile so that the look more realistic.

I work in tiles in a shop that has a massive range from many wholesalers in a massive price range. The idea regarding vitrified tiles is right but most vitrified tiles only come in solid or speckled colours in 300 x 300 size. Timber look tiles range in price from $50 to $100 plus per m2. Laying from $60 per m2 plus glues and grouts. The colours in timber look tiles at the moment are fab. Lots of realistic colours and grey and ash washed looks. Best colours in the higher price ranges.

Most good tiles now come in different patterns on each tile sometimes up to 150 patterns per style. You don't have to have scandi design the timber works well with rustic, hamptons and industrial looks.

At $110 to $160 per m laid, you could get a good quality engineered timber floor.
