Comments (17)You might think idea is silly but I ordered this photo for our bedroom - with yours you could actually have 3 large ones (the same) across the bedhead wall. This is our room before I ordered the pic, which is the same size and the existing one only portrait not landscape. Art.com have some amazing photos framed or unframed. http://www.art.com/asp/search_do.asp/_/posters.htm?searchstring=fire%20escape&SSK=fire%20escape&WT.oss=fire%20escape&sby=All%20Art...See MoreWall art? Comments (27)To Ella Kate Thrupp....."a woven piece"...as in a wall rug or a tapestry suggested by yours truly and Tribbletrouble441452k7 Trek? Or maybe you have a more novel idea in mind? Have you come across any "woven" art in your professional travels? I have a friend who actually weaves tapestries on a loom as they did centuries ago thread by thread. They are exquisite and each a unique artwork. She works professionally on commission Very time consuming, meticulous and expensive and she also does it simply for relaxation and sells them. Wonder would there be anything along this line available commercially today? Such a "woven piece" would make an enormous impact in any room, so beautiful and unique in a bedroom especially if a design woven to order...but Yikes $$$$$. Afterthought...a painted MURAL designed to order might be a touch of luxury if you engaged somebody to do it and they presented you with a series of pictures for you to choose from.....that would not fall down! I did one for a friend's guest donga in Charleville QLD...she wanted a fantasy and had a lot of input herself, it was a collaborative effort and she got exactly what she wanted. Can't go wrong with a mural...can always paint over it when you want something different....See MoreHelp! Bachelor pad needs some wall art
Comments (25)Zazzle.com.au have some cool and affordable posters you can then frame with IKEA / KMart / target frames etc... try searching graffiti for something edgy or beach photography for some Cali type images... or there's architecture shots too. There's multiple sizes available and you can then try matching up to frame before purchasing.. Good luck...See MoreHelp with with wall art!
Comments (15)Art should be picked on your reaction to it...pick something that 'speaks' to you, love it and be happy with it and yes I agree introducing some colour makes an impact but it should also be chosen because you love to look at it not because it matches everything, these is so much great art out in this Country I am sure you can fine something you love that enhances your area but one you also love to look at and admire as part of the whole décor...in my opinion as an art restorer and artist (retired) you should be able to achieve your perfect room with deciding what you like/love and follow through to achieve your desired look, one that suits you and your personality, other wise a room can still look 'cold' if you choose just to match something....See MoreStyle Precinct Interior Design & Decoration
