I like your choice Gallifrey! I went to look at Southern Tiles as well. They got some really unusual choices. Neagles - subway tiles are ...boring. I was looking at Southern Cross' Contour Pewter and really like it. I am not a grout fan and prefer large tiles. Having said that, I also love those tinted mirror splashbacks. So the two glass options are there white (safe) and blue matching feature chair and painting in adjoining room. Then multi coloured tiles from southern cross which I like but worried will be dated instantly

Would love to see a wider shot of your kitchen, is your benchtop a black granite? How much splashback do you have ? The alloy tiles could look amazing- don't do the white glass you will be disappointed.

I love the blue pattern tile. It looks amazing.

I would also like to see more of the kitchen and where the splashback is going. My picks for now are the far right for a more neutral look yet still different or the blue patterned one for some colour and boldness.

Blue patterned one is stunning

The patterned ones look striking but can look very busy too. I would tire of it quickly it depends on how much you have to tile.

I am making very similar decisions and am thinking of going for a monochrome graphic pattern like the examples you have. No doubt it will date, like everything does, but at least I will be able to change the look of the kichen by changing the colour of less permanent accessories.
Gallifrey, I am looking at doing my kitchen in a very similar style and colour palette as yours, could you tell me what the finishes on your cupboards and benchtop are?

Tracy, benchtops are Caesarstone Sleek Concrete, cupboards are Laminex sublime riven teak. Bottom cupboards are laminex polar white gloss.
You will read a lot of complaints in this forum about the Sleek Concrete showing marks. We have no problem with it, as we picked it as it looks like concrete. An imperfect product.

Gallifrey, what is the timber finish called on your kitchen cabinets? Wanting to choose a few feature cabinets in timber just like this to warm up my white kitchen.

If you're worried about cleaning you could consider an aluminium splash back with a design on it, like DecoSplash. You can choose from over 100 designs or use your own image, and cleaning it is just a matter of spraying and wiping. Here's mine. I decided that since it was such a prominent part of the kitchen and also would cost a reasonable amount, no matter which option, and something that I would be looking at often, that I would put something up that makes me happy and has good memories every time I look at it - it's a painting made by my cousin, photographed, enlarged and printed onto toughened glass.
