This is the piece that was there, should I hang it on the other wall? Or let my African lady have all the limelight? I'm not really attached to the second piece (it came with the house) but I can't use it anywhere else in the house because of the colours. What do you think? One art or two??

I live with a beautiful sea view which I love, but which presents its own set of challenges. When we moved in the interior was painted grey but on an overcast day, all I see out the window is grey - grey sky, grey sea and when I turned around there were grey walls as well. It was quite oppressive. We’ve repainted a lovely soft white which isn’t too dazzling on a bright day, but definitely lifts the gloom on a dull day. I’ve added punches of bright colour here and there and now I love my space (and my view in all weathers)

it's difficult and very expensive to remove a whole wall and add an extensions to make one new giant room as the roof, walls, floor and ceiling may also need to be rebuilt and costs depends on if you want to remove the whole wall or can add an extensions with doorways between new and old rooms without removing the whole wall. .post a plan of the existing house and a description of what you are aiming to achieve

I have a magnesium pool and magnesium is way more expensive than salt. Having said that the maintenance is easier and not as onerous. Added to the cost of pool upkeep are the health benefits and the fact I don’t have to pay for visits to recovery centres or extra massages. It’s also the best way to wind down and get a good nights sleep.
