Help! Which colours go with these bathroom tiles?
Comments (78)That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )...See MoreNeed help with garden and paint colours
Comments (12)Can you take out one of the garden beds (front left) and do a smaller deck area to transition from the upper deck down to the paving. I think you need a much lighter colour to provide light and contrast with all the tropical plants. Agree yellow and orange are not helping create a relaxing outdoor area. You already have warm colours in the terracotta tile around the pool so a colour for the walls that cools them down, look for neutral tones in lighter blue/greys to reflect the pool. You can see the difference in the photo above which looks much lighter than in your photo with the dark brick and terracotta orange on the walls which just seems to suck the light out. Large pots can be in your favourite pops of colour to great interest and contrast. Good luck with your project....See MoreNeed help selecting a paint colour for render
Comments (17)Thank you so much everyone for your great ideas, advice and uploads. I've decided on glass for pool fencing, Dune for render colour, but still undecided about front balustrade and handrails. While I love the idea of stainless steel, I'm still not confident that a modern look will suit the front facade. I keep coming back to the classic look in Lesley's pic but wonder whether white powder coating is the way to go or whether it would be too busy for my facade as I have stairs/handrails to consider. Still pondering over too many choices!...See MoreHelp me choose a colour fence please......
Comments (13)Oh! Sorry I misunderstood your post. I think it depends on what type of planting you will have along your fence line. I assume it will be a Colorbond fence? I wouldn't introduce Shale grey. Of those two I'd prob stick with Surfmist but then I think greenery looks FABULOUS against Monument fencing. The whole back of my house is Surfmist acrylic render and we have chosen Monument fencing and garden retainer walls/seating around the perimeter of our garden as it provides a background of depth against greenery. I know you don't like Monument though. Houzz does give you a variety of opinions and does make you think outside the square. Good luck with your choice!...See Morebarnes3
