Outdoors conditions can also breakdown a fabric as well as badly fade the colours, so ensure you choose a fabric rated for outdoor use, and even then some will be better suited for your purpose than others. There are plenty of outdoor fabrics out there of varying quality and price points. Factors such as the fibre, colouring process, quality of manufacturer etc all will affect the comfort and durability of the fabric.
