Need some art/decor ideas for my dining area and lounge
Comments (14)Hi Ange, Megan from online art gallery, Bluethumb, here. I'm loving the mix of industrial and bohemian pieces you have! I believe that a statement artwork above the dining room table would look great, especially one that balances the two interior styles you have working for you. Here's one by a Bluethumb feature artist I think would perfectly fit with the different aspects of the room, as well as the warm colour palette. https://bluethumb.com.au/brewman/Artwork/summer-landscape-ron-brown The piece is called Summer Landscape by Melbourne artist, Ron Brown. I've mocked it up in situ for you, so you can really visualise it in the space. It measures 120cm by 90cm, so should fit nicely on the wall. I have some alternative ideas for you, also from our feature artists, if that one doesn't appeal: https://bluethumb.com.au/george-hall/Artwork/silent-heat-135-x-90cm-acrylic-painting-on-canvas https://bluethumb.com.au/suebannisterartist/Artwork/the-honey-comb-effect https://bluethumb.com.au/haruyomorita/Artwork/Soul-Portrait-2015-1 https://bluethumb.com.au/bradley-kickett/Artwork/bandee-lakes https://bluethumb.com.au/dinah-wakefield/Artwork/last-light-dinah-wakefield Let me know if you'd like any of these works mocked up! Some ideas for styling would be to keep the space feeling fresh with some plants, perhaps some succulents or native flowers on the dining room table. This would fit perfectly with the trees in Ron Brown's piece! Hope this helps! Megan...See MoreArt work recommendation
Comments (55)Hi Lila, If you are looking for bird artworks (not certain that you are?) we have a whole aviary collection you might like to check out - available in a range of sizes to suite your space. We offer these either framed as shown below, or frame-less, more details at the link, but both use the transparency of the perspex medium to create a stunning three dimensional effect that brings them to life. https://www.signarture.com.au/collections/aviary-fine-art-bird-prints-on-perspex We have a whole range of collections from abstracts to treescapes that you might like to browse for inspiration if birds aren't your thing! https://www.signarture.com.au/...See MoreArt work question
Comments (11)I think some shelving would look wonderful, keep the styling quite simple so that your eye doesn't get pulled away from the TV when you are trying to relax. A couple of floor plants either side of your entertainment unit would keep the electronics company and finish off the look quite nicely....See MoreWall art work - mirrors
Comments (11)oh that art over lounge is old & need to replace bc sick of looking at it. also can’t change placement of the clock as there is a bracket & dont want to patch & paint the wall. The other wall in dining room will only reflect another wall so not sure but im going to buy them first and play around with them as I’m a visual person. also what colour would you recommend I go? ideally I would love to change my curtainS but can’t afford to do so. & my rug but I have an old fur baby who at times has accidents so going to wait on that for now. Was thinking of painting my antique tv unit & table white; what do you think?? Btw... chairs are brown not black....See Moreecl24
