The stone is from YDL Stone called Kalala Shan. I wanted caesarstone calacatta nuvo but that would have broken the bank! This one still has that marble look I wanted but it's actually a warm base more off white, goes well with wood and the trouble I am having is which grey to put it with in the bathrooms! I was thinking light grey with off white...where did you get your tile from?

Hi Mona, First of all what a stunning house. My house paint is extremely similar to this one.I am almost sure there are three shades of the same colour. If you saw these shades at different times of the day you would see what I mean.Now here is the exciting part for me they all come from the base colour of green. If you look closely at the trims ( real word escapes me ) they are telling you this. I painted my rendered house 19 years ago and the only thing I have to do is wash it down every couple of years, I am in Sydney. By the way the paint has a lifetime guarantee. Unfortunately the paint was not allowed into Oz at the time so I cannot tell you how I got it for obvious reasons. I hope things have changed for the customers benefit but the other manufacturers did not want it for obvious reasons. the name of the paint is KEIM and it is german of course. I do not regret using it for a second and if I was to build again I would use it at the drop of a hat. I hope you find it and consider using it. I really like the idea of concealing the screen. TV's, when off, leave a black hole in the wall to me. I don't watch or own a TV though, so I guess they'll always stand out to me. I also like how concealing a TV "repurposes" the space. It's no longer the focus of seating arrangements. I really like the sliding art panel and wouldn't it be great if it automatically slides over once the TV is switched off!

attaching the garage at the corner can be complicated for the roof so this also has to be considered but can you post a plan of the block showing the proposed location of the new house, distance to each boundary, the front gate and any existing driveway, arrows showing the direction of north and any views and is the block sloping in any direction or relatively flat? the problem with acreage is that there are so many choices and you probably also don't want a view of the driveway from the bath so we need more information about the block
