I personally love a king size in a master but they can look too big in some rooms. This may be the case here too, especially with your chosen bed. However as long as you have enough room to move around it you will be comfortable in that regard. If you were to go king I would suggest looking at a bed with just a bed head or a separate bed head with ensemble as this will not dominate the room room to much and make it feel smaller. Then find side tables that are floating or light in structure with open legs so you can see through to the wall. Good luck

One suggestion I'd make - shelves above a bed are very hard to reach, without standing on the bed. There are many beds though that fold up into a wall cabinet, so take up the thickness of a mattress/frame when folded up. It also makes for a tidier office when it's not a guest room. You may have to hunt for a fold-out that hinges on the long side - most are hinged on the short side (i.e. hinge under the pillow). If you can't find the right unit you might be able to swap with the shelves behind the door, or on the opposite far wall. You'd then have to rejig the other shelves you want above the bed, or move the bed unit the depth of the shelves out from the wall, or rotate it 90 degrees to parallel the wall to the credenza. Wow, what a difference, I had no idea just how big the area was from the before photos, but this looks great - clean and easy to maintain as well. I can see in time the plantings will give a nice lushness and softness to the area that will also help visually cool the area in summer as well. I also like the elevated garden - I can assure you this is a real bonus in senior years. Wondering how many of the old crowd are still around, I lost the ability to post photos after a computer update quite some years back and then couldn't make comments either, so I'm thrilled suddenly the site seems to be working for me. I felt I'd been excommunicated. Not long after this post, I up and sold my Sydney house, was totally fed up with the overdevelopment happening and moved to Port Stephens for some quiet country life. Bought a house on a small block of land that wouldn't be too much for me to maintain in my senior years and the back garden faces north so gets sun all day winter and summer - beautiful in winter as it lets the sun in the house on that side too, but almost unliveable in summer. House had been leased all its life so I literally had a blank canvas - after I'd levelled the craters the tenant's dog had created - I needed privacy from neighbours but didn't want a lot of maintenance, including no lawns to mow, so I've used low maintenance shrubs growing to about 2m around the perimeter and 4 crepe myrtles in the centre area for shade to sit under in summer while allowing full sun in winter. Just waiting for everything to grow now, but thanks to Covid and lockdowns, I've had plenty of time to garden. Thanks for the update Rog, I hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Annb1997. Thanks for your suggestions. I don't think I need a heated towel rack if have a central heating radiator. A hanging rack would go above this perhaps too but also near the shower. In my lomg experience of CH the towels dry off fine in winter this way. In summer also when radiator not on if the window is open. I really do not like sliding doors on showers so have to find a solution with a 1000mm square shower with door. I have spent two hours today in a showroom looking at all possible combinations. Clearance is insufficient with certain size fixtures as you state with the vanity in the new position. So my homework tonight was choose from all the possible variations that we determined would work. Wish me luck!!
