External color scheme! Help! Render and roof colors to go with woodlan

Need some help with color scheming.
We are about to paint roof, render house and replace our gutters and I need some advise on what colors to go with.
We have already replaced some of the bronze aluminum windows with woodland grey ones (plan is to professionally paint the rest woodland grey) so am thinking a light roof and similarly light paint on the render, with woodland grey gutters.
Any ideas for what color I should paint the roof and render? Tin roof. Would surfmist work? Any photos of surfmist and woodland grey I can look at??

Comments (34)Hi, we are extending upstairs over a older red brick home. we have Ironstone windows, gutters, roof. We are going to render the extension but don't want to go lighter like a Dune colour but more of a medium grey. We will be replacing our posts and garage door with timber (also have a timber gate) so I feel like we can get away with a darker grey upstairs render. Comments (9)Match whatever door/window is replacing the roller door to your existing black windows. Given you already have monument on the property I’d stick with that for the gutters. Once the gutters are done, have the roof cleaned - it may not need anything else done to it. I wouldn’t paint or render the bricks but I would invest in a landscaping plan. 7 years agoI really like colorbonds wallaby... they have some contrasting colours listed below... this might give a dark enough look without being too dark. however would you consider changing roof and trims first and then see how you feel about the brickwork? It might be all you need to do for an updated look. I'd maybe do roof and gutters same colour and then down pipes in a colour similar to bricks so not to stand out..., garage doors maybe the woodland grey?

7 years agoBeth I sourced this image via Pinterest and it only refers to the roof colour however it could be colourbond dune? You could even do this colour at 1/2 strength...
