Surprisingly very few bar stools from the mid-century were designed for the home. They were more likely to have been designed for cafes, pubs etc etc. The mid-century example shown is by Erik Buch and originates from Denmark.

Hi Sian If it wasnt for the foot rail, I'd thought the stool was a side table and looks uncomfortable to sit on, but try Gumtree - you may find pre loved Vincents for a song. Hi! Can i put these dining chairs and bar stools in the same space? photos of my dining table, cane light fittings over table. Ceramic light above kitchen bench. Swatches are of my flooring (not the honey coloured flooring the samples are on though), kitchen cupboards, bench top. sorry if it's confusing. Dreamer I don’t have dining chairs just yet. Just a black dining table so far. I’m pretty sold on the black rattan stools so I think i’ll go with those. Thanks for the help everyone! 🙂
