Bathroom looks great. A classic style. Will never date or be unfashionable. The feature tiles will date unfortunately. They may look acceptable now but they could end up like any other fashion item, something you'll end up kicking yourself for. Tiling is expensive to lay and even more expensive to change.......

trouble with kids is they don't go wandering on foot they prefer to catch the fastest thing around aka trams lol told them if you walk you'll see much more I don't use trams when I'm in the city I go wandering on foot :)

I would have thought the intent of mosaic feature was to highlight a feature by drawing your attention to it. I assume the bath and window is intended to be a feature, so why not tile above bath & around window to draw attention to that.
