Need help finding a counter stool
I have just bought a new house. For nearly every necessary piece of furniture that I need, I've found something that I love. However, I haven't been able to find any counter stools! I have attached a photo of some that I really liked from Vincent Design Supply, but for only 2 it was going to be over $1000, so a little over budget. Can anyone recommend any bar stools that would look good in the space? The attached photo is what it looked like during sales. I would prefer something black and backless.

Comments (8)I think your benchtop material choice really depends on how both you and your husband live and what level of natural wear you are comfortable with showing. Natural wood benchtops to me are very similar to natural stone or stainless steel. The surfaces will naturally age and show use, scratches and imperfections much more than say a caesarstone if it's a high use area but some people love that look and it goes well with an industrial or natural style. Comments (14)Hi there, we just do a wipe down every day for cleanliness ( can still see some marks with this) and a wipe and buff once a week to look as new. We have red wine, turmeric, beetroot, coffee drips, grey ‘pencil’ scrapes from plates. Oils are pretty much a daily addition on our benches too, and as it is also our backsplash it gets tomato sauce, spatters etc from cooking. All disappear with the wipe and buff method except for the pencil type marks which I use another Enjo product called marble paste on then follow up with the usual routine. I think you may have to make the hard decision between the fresh concrete look or a stone that shows less marks in certain lights- choose whichever feature will make you the happiest in the long term. Comments (20)I prefer the one on the right. The high back support means you can lean back comfortably, whereas the one on the left may encourage people to slouch forward. Comments (3)We used Caesarstone Statuario Maximus on our island bench, Caesarstone Snow on our counter top and backsplash and Dulux Whitsunday Island half strength in satin finish for our cabinetry. The cabinetry and Snow are seemless in colour. Statuario Maximus tones in well with the cabinetry. The staff at Caesarstone had suggested Fresh Concrete for to match SM but we felt we needed a stone to match the cabinetry. We painted our whole house in Whitsunday Island half strength and love it. Our aspect is East and we have blaring sun in the morning and shade for the remainder of the day and found that Whitsunday Island half strength was the only colour that balances the yellow sun and blue shade....See More

9 years agoHi Sian, I found these online at Milia, love a stool that does not have wide base legs that stick out and take up valuable space (and try and trip people!!) but I live in a small unit. The last one is my fave but sorry for the blurry. From my experience these shaped stool seats are generally the most comfortable. Hope this helps
I am choosing these for my new tiny kitchen in one bed unit because VERY comfortable and fit under bench with no legs sticking out
