Open or Closed? What type of bathroom design do you fancy?
Comments (6)Open bathrooms look great and make the room look bigger. On our catalogue we have some vanities that fit the open style like a glove! Take a peek!...See MorePeople seem scared of black bathrooms - what do you think of mine?
Comments (12)The funny thing is; if I verbally explain it to people they seem generally unsure or negative, but those same people, having seen in person say they're in love with it. Maybe its just people being conservative or scared to take risks? I am in the suburbs, but its an ensuite, and its EXTREMELY large for an ensuite (those black tiles are 600mm sqr.). I dont know if its "deco" - perhaps I dont understand what that style is (i thought 'deco' was 50s-60s style) - but I was shooting for a bathroom you might find in a high-class hotel. The master bedroom has it's own hallway - to give it the illusion that it is tucked away from the rest of the house. Clean lines, simple, luxurious. I'm trying very hard to "pull back" on it - keep the pallet simple, and try not to over-complicate it. I've kinda had to make it up in my head as I go along; there isn't much in the way of inspiration I could use to guide the way (at my budget). Even those flat, gloss black tiles were EXTREMELY difficult to source. But thanks so much for your comments guys and gals....See MoreWould you rather a new bathroom or kitchen?
Comments (9)The kitchen really is the heart & soul of any home, open to be used & viewed by family, friends and visitors. Ours was designed 16 years ago by an elderly couple, so definitely needs upgrading, new life, a new practical design and purpose. I just need to win Tattslotto and a talented kitchen designer! We renovated our ensuite, removing the pink rose tiles to a bathroom we enjoy, without wincing as we enter. It now fits our seaside village environment. The kitchen is very much an important project for the distant financial future . . . . . . ....See MoreWhat do you think of this bathroom layout?
Comments (26)I think it should fit, width of bath 800 plus 900 for shower approx, you would most likely end up with shorter vanity, I will draw it for you after I post my updated plan. I have run the island to the wall to give you a better length island, the door could be louvered windows as well, full height like others 2400 and glass. No corner cupboards in thei kitchen!!...See Moredenisreno
