KITCHEN WALLS COLOUR ADVICE
Comments (2)Depends on how much natural light you have, furniture, rug, art for the room etc. if you have lots of coloured items possibly a white or off white would work best. If your space is on the darker side make sure the colour you choose is a warmer one with such a dark floor. Good luck :)...See Morekitchen colour help/advice/opinion
Comments (17)okie here's a thought.. your marble look will match your stainless..it doesn't mean your cupboards have to.. below is an example to illustrate my point .. I have a gold kitchen with stainless steel appliances ..it never occurred to me that I have to match my stainless steel in when you think of it that way it gives you more options more colours to choose from timber is another good one to break up your laminate .....See MoreTwo-pac colour advice for kitchen cabinets-desperate!
Comments (15)Lovely, would you be happy with something a darker shade of grey or a more lighter neutral. Im only thinking as time goes by it is easy to change your wall colour than your cabinetry and colour can be added to your kitchen in many ways that are simple change. Have you thought yet about your splashback. I made my decisions on my kitchen by first thinking what I don't want. For example I am not a fan of polished surfaces so then I went abou looking for matt ones. Sometimes I think with the endless choice it's best to start at the other end....See MoreKitchen door colour advice required!
Comments (16)Thanks for all the comments, its great to get the feedback. The apartment is really small and actually very narrow in the kitchen space being only against the one wall. The dark wood makes the room feel smaller and almost pulls the ceiling down lower than it is... To be honest I never really liked it! I am conscious we have bought a lot of American Oak wood scandi style furniture from Icon by Design to fit out the place and it may be overkill going with more timber in such a small area... after getting 4 quotes, I have found it is cheaper in Sydney to buy new doors and have manufactured than to repaint existing doors thats why I thought I could have them all replaced and go handleless We are putting a very small open shelf to the right of the range hood where the existing shelf is, this will be coloured in lighter oak timber veneer to break up the top row colour block.. We decided on the wall/ceiling colours from the beginning and now just trying to work through our kitchen, we found a circuit with easy access to install an LED light strip today which was great, but am now considering whether we put in a glass door to break it up etc. It's so hard to decide!...See MoreSmith & Smith Kitchens
