Thanks for the comment DD. As it is an apartment in a high rise, there was no choice but to match the existing frame colour of the other levels. We had to ensure that the look remained the same throughout the apartment in order to comply with both the Local Council and obtain Body Corporate approval. As an aside, it even got down to the colour (tint) of the glass and was also quite a technical challenge to winch up pre-formed double glazed windows and full height sliding doors on the outside of some 13 storeys where no lifting facilities existed.

That looks great I love the range, so much better than glass & S/steel. I also love that shade of grey on the island as it compliments the cabinets with out being in your face. Beautiful well done

Hi gailgratland we have blackbutt engineered floor from woodpecker flooring - satin finish and we love it. We have a crazy dog that dashes all over it and the scratches wipe off. No dents so far but the floor has only been down a year. Our last floor was also blackbutt and that was down for 15 years, it probably had 2 or 3 noticeable dents. That one had 2 teenagers galloping across it for years. The only reason it was replaced instead of re-finished was it had water damage from the dishwasher. Hope these pics help with your decision.

Hi Claire, I don't think you are looking to change your whole house, but thinking about wanting a Hamptons inspired outdoor area, think white black beige and natural timber colours. You could paint the bricks white or black and possibly paint your doors and windows the either of the same colours, some inspiration photos for you ( your pebblecrete colour will blend perfectly. cheers
