We've ended up choosing Yokor Windows & Doors. They're a Chinese import company with very high quality product. A builder friend of mine recommend him who used them in his own house. We are yet to order though. They were about 8k cheaper than The other company we were tossing up between. The only issue i don't like their flyscreen product so we'll get that from someone else.

HI Check out Whispair. We have one installed and short of it being on full blast you cannot hear it, even though the motor is within the unit. If you want a remote unit you have to make sure the ducting is done right, but the Schwiegen is very quiet. Cheers

Some of the larger manufacturers (such as Ceaserstone) have a great sample chip service where you can order samples for free to be posted to you. Your perception of your white benchtop will be influenced by the other colours in your kitchen such as the splashback and cabinetwork, as well as the lighting, so making your final decsions at home is always the best. If you are looking for whiteness don't consider a natural stone for your kitchen as these marbles are softer and more porous than the reconstituted stones. You get a more durable surface that is easier to live with a white reconstituted stone. Never base your selection on a photo or an internet image as they are indicitive, and these images lie! Finally when ordering a reconstituted benchtop there is a fair bit of back and forth for the stonemason. A good stonemason will visit to get an template for your kitchen benchtop, then return to his workshop, then cut the stone to match the template, then revisit to install. If you are in a regional area it is worthwhile finding out what brands your local guy will work with. there's two separate things needed here..a roof building company should be able to add the simple awnings with frame, guttering and roof cladding finished and then a handyperson or carpenter can line the eaves with timber, add the decorative trims and paint but i'd start with locating a suitable trim to see if that needs to be custom made (should be a piece of timber and some patience with a jigsaw) but check Aust building trims on line to see if you can find a suitable trim ready made
