Love this garden and the depth of planting in small space. Didn't think I could put trees in my small space. Looks lush. Would really appreciate some advice on what they are. Thank you
I think these are either Betula nigra (the river birch), or Betula albosinensis 'Fascination'. Both will form quite large trees with time, but treat them like any other plant i.e. enjoy them in your garden whatever size it is and take them out when they're becoming a problem. Birch will also survive in large planters or containers provided they are irrigated.
