Need help - Front Entrance Tiles for Staircase

Need advice on best tiles and colour palette for our front entrance. Recently rendered house and now need to update stair case leading up to front door. What would be best tile to use for non-slip and any suggestions on colour palette? This photo make render look a little grey - more brown tones to it (Dulux - Puppy).

Sandstone or almost any stone like Bluestone, Slate, etc. Goes with almost anything and doesn't date, fall out of trend, etc. Slate isn't overly popular at the moment but it's making a comeback!!

Sandstone looks amazing and would give texture and a real wow to this amazing entrance (you lucky thing).

The only thing is that with the colour tones i think you may need to stick to a blue stone.

Slate is nice but a pain to keep or pull out later if need be

I would use graphic black and white rugs and choose a strong color such as red or lime green or colbalt blue as the color that gives punch to you apt. Get some pillows to pick up the color from the shelve where I would put some modern vases. You can find them at Marshalls or Burlington Coat Factory etc. for almost nothing or Home Goods.

Hi Helen, I think because your garden beds are right up to the door you feel that way, maybe pave an area either side of door so that your pots can sit evenly , add some new plants a little taller to compliment the door, if possible add a new edging and use a stone mulch for a beautiful effect, mass plant with some lush plants , a couple of cute wall hanging plants could look gorgeous
