I have 18 year old light oak wood flooring in my entrance, hall, and connected kitchen. I'm told it has an orange tone to it. It can't be matched at this stage. I cannot afford to re-stain or change that flooring. However, I need to change the carpet in my living room which continues from the entrance. What flooring would you recommend. It's a small 550 sq. ft. room with French doors giving it light. I like a "beachy" Cape Cod look if it could work into the light oak wood floors. The walls are Pratt-Lambert Riversand. This has become such a chore for me. Please help !
