Is a TV in the bathroom too much?
Comments (59)I had to settle for a shower for years and years because the place we lived in only had a shower although my showers are deefinitely not a three minute person, more like 15min ha-ha I too decided on a spa bath in our new build, one that is big enough to fit two people but is simply a bath shape and I'm finding it hard to get myself back into baths because of being used to a shower for so long but I don't regret it either. I used to read the paper in the bath back when papers were what was around back then and I do miss that ha-ha...See MoreCLOSED: Win a Samsung The Frame TV
Comments (3190)The simple whites are what I like, the lounge welcomes you to get comfortable and spend time and lose all the distractions, giving you a chance to refresh and refocus. The TV art on the wall is the highlight and draws your attention, and hides its personalities. Is it a TV at all?, Overall I chose number 9 for its simplicity and comforting feel with no clutter and with one piece to comfort the body and one piece to stimulate the mind....See MoreNot sure where to place tv and couch
Comments (11)(overlapping posts but doesn't change suggestions especially need for locations of doors and windows) to make space for a 55" TV i would swap rooms and make a media room with a wall of cabinets to include the TV, music, books etc and have a roomier dining room with extra small lounge chairs that can be rearranged when you need seating for more than 4 to watch TV..the lounge could be a sofa bed with a storage coffee table for bedding but best size and placement of all furniture depends on measurements and you will use an accurate plan of the whole apartment (including exact size and location of all doors and windows for choosing furniture, floor and window coverings, appliances, built ins, kitchen cabinets etc etc so if you can make a rough plan showing the distance from the windows and doors to all corners i can make a more accurate plan for you...See MoreWindow and TV in lounge
Comments (1)your plans look great but, unless there are spectacular views due west, i would lose the western windows in the lounge except for a short section towards the front and then use the western wall for TV and have an L shaped seating arrangement facing north and west and a study nook arrangement in the alcove facing south in the living area and/or have the biw along the western wall of the bedroom (to suit the easement) and bedroom window facing south and there would be more space for an island rather than the peninsular for the kitchen but can't read the dimensions to illustrate my suggestions...See MoreMel McAndrew
