for bright and breezy go for pale yellows and oranges - blues & greys are everywhere - or look at light greens You can go with Surfmist for the roof and facias to keep it lighter - I would even do a Zinc roof with this design for a clean, modern minimalist look. Then look at Dulux Tinker Light at half & quarter tones if you want to go into the yellows or try Dulux Fresh Frappe or Misty Moore for the greens ... Try something different. If you have a neutral roof, you can go crazy with colours - and change them more easily whenever you want to update your look. Good Luck! :)

I'd play off the colour of the new tiles - check out Dulux Henna Red to use as a core colour then choose a red-white, a charcoal grey and high gloss black for the door and small details You could be super brave and go with a Red roof too :) This is a great site to have a look at the differences between a bunch of different colours and doing it right :) http://www.oldhouseguy.com/exterior-paint-colors/ Good luck!

another question if i may. i want to compliment self destruct with another lighter colour as a feature. a colour that wont throw off too much yellow. should i stick to hog bristle half/quarter? im also looking at possibly Dulux Ecru half/quarter. any suggestions and recommendations.thankyou

Yes go monument!and if you go for some lime acacias out the front (tall weeping or the low bush)it would brighten up you whole look.Also adding strappy green plants that bulk up would give it a bit more of a clean look. If you don't want to go monument on roof go a light grey and tie in with a couple of tall light grey planters on either side of your door. Pleas please please!find someone with a jigsaw and cut the tops off your pickets to give a cleaner look before you paint them. I'm stating the obvious but those security screens are pretty overwhelming,can you just have them on windows that can be opened,it might not look so busy out the front.
