my suggestions includes cleaning all the brick walls and paving and repair any damaged pointing and grout, extending the roof sideways over a new garage without the Dutch gable, clean and paint the roof tiles in a mid colour or consider replacing tiles with Colorbond Steel for a more long lasting fix and opportunity to upgrade roof insulation, replace gutters in a dark colour and downpipes to match the brick colour, replace the steel fence with simple horizontal rails (and/or raise a solid brick fence to maximum height and render in the darkest fence colour) add Plantation shutters or venetians to allow light inside while retaining privacy and use Kate's idea of the pergola across the rear, add generous outdoor furniture to make an outdoor entertaining area, paint the garden retaining walls and fences in a darker version of the new gutter colour and fill the garden beds with shrubs to block out fences and neighbouring houses, keep the big palms and add some big shrubs and more palms to the front yard and paint the front door in the darkest version of the new gutter colour and what are the flat panels on the outside rear wall??

I actually really like the fence... it gives it a country australiana sort of look. I prefer it open to a fortress of corrugated iron. Look, there's not a lot can be done to change the house... it would look even more of a hash. It IS the style and age it IS and it has a charm of its own. As long as it's all tidy and in good repair that's great. It's a good solid house by the looks of it. Instead focus on landscaping the yard. Pull the eye forward to the fence line with some plantings on either side of the wire fence. I'd do a low floral border that sits belownthe top of the fence and then maybe something like agapanthas on the other side so you can appreciate them from the street. I'd favor natives like grevilleas and bottlebrush. large shrubs flowers in a large bed in front of the house. I'd maybe put a few standardised bottlebrushes on either side of the path for height. Hi C P. Yes the garage is on the property it’s to house the 4x4 it doesn’t fit in the other garage The color of the door is paperbark but I’m not happy with the color and it will be replaced with. Dune color and the other garage doors will be painted same

No to terracotta, that would be closer to your gutter guard that doesn’t work with your bricks and would be the first thing I’d address. You could square up the bricks around the garage doors and modernise the front door screen. The roller doors could be more modern too, although they look fine and what they are.
